The return of the Nike Air Skylon II is like catching a unicorn. Once a rarely-seen sneaker outside of the year 1992 and mostly in the vaults of Dutch trainerspotters, the Swoosh managed to get their hands on a few original pairs to reference against the new retro. With this resurgence in obscure, non-flagship runners from that era, the characteristic takedowns are present: microfibre and nylon mesh upper, mid-profile encapsulated Air-Sole, waffle pattern outsole. The most prominent visual feature of this shoe - and arguably its drawcard - is here: a very '90s overspray print on the midfoot panel around the Swoosh.
