The original Nike Shox was released to the public 18 years ago and heralded a sustained era of innovation with its unorthodox cushioning columns. Almost two decades later Nike taps back into this high-tech look for a sleek sportswear adaptation. The pair of columns are now staggered in height at the heel for ergonomic strides, surrounded by a firm but flexible frame for stability. The upper is equally supportive with a mesh bootie fit encased by an oversized TPU heel counter featuring a prominent Swoosh. Lockdown is furthered with a quick-lace lugged system connected to midfoot wraps. Slotted rubber tabs on the tongue and ankle assist with putting the shoe on and off.
